Anet has already refused to allow for more heroes so I would like to see my heroes use the new skills, even if the heroes had a limited (perhaps rank 5) sunspear title.

It's a retarded premise because:
a) Heroes haven't done Jack Shit to earn said titles and
b) Giving said skills to heroes would completely throw the balance of the game. Your dervish has permanent Avatar, your sin attacks +33% permanently, your ranger can Spike better than any RangerSpiker ever could. All this in the hands of one person. The AI was not balanced to take anything like this. Such a group could very well slice through DoA.

Anyway, I feel bad pointing these things out, because they should be obvious. If the mob had their way, FoW armor would cost 5k, Mending+Healing Breeze on a warrior would be awesome, entrance to elite missions would be free and I would be playing something else.
EDIT: If you want, I could elaborate on why having every bozo with access to heroes able to destroy DoA is bad for the game. Apparently things I thought were evident sometimes aren't.

throw the PUG players a bone...not like the new skills will make people PUG more than they did before the skills. I know it won't affect my play at all.

...You're wrong. They were with me the whole time I farmed up to Rank 10. Depends on your point of view. Of course with that logic, Heroes shouldn't get access to any unlocked skill because they "haven't done jack shit".

They're just as overpowered as any wellmade guild group. If you're saying it'd be too easy, that'd make sense, but that's not what you're saying.
Also: "Balance of the game"? It was imbalanced as soon as they made a normal monster over level 20. Not to mention that these skills are perfectly imbalanced. Don't know where you're headed here.

Not everyone has beaten all campaigns with all characters you know. You cant expect your team to have "elite skill X" when you are pugging in an area before that skill is available. . . .

If I can play any build, there isnt any excuse other players have not to. If other players cant play decent bars, they're not making it into my group (Took me 4 days to complete Tyria HM. Lack of decent players is making the other two too difficult).
Not having elite skill X in HM is not an excuse for noobs to be allowed to play HM.
I have eight rank 10 sunspear characters, and two more rank 9.
But then, I also don't pug.
And as I'm never going to pug anyway... anet should let heroes use the new skills

Great example right here, Good players like you shouldnt be forced to play with pug monks with healing breeze.
I only have one r10 sunspear char with legendary skill hunter since I prefer to always play one char. However there are sooo many people in the game that dont have any usefull skills and expect to be able to pug in HM.
Once I got a monk in my HM group, He had no elite, heal other, jameis gaze, heal party and healing breeze and no energy management XD.
I think that was the reason I stopped taking human monks.

It would be great if heroes could use sunspear skills.
A common argument against it boils down to PuG's: heroes with sunspear skills would kill PuG's while people should (be encouraged to) join PuG's more often.
But gimping heroes is not the right way to promote PuG's. The only way to enjoy PuG's at the moment is to not take them too seriously for completing missions and join them for the fun of it. To finish the mission horoes and henchmen are frequently a better party.
For those who like to PuG and would like to see more players join PuG, think of ways to make joining a PuG something desirable rather then supporting ways to decrease the usefulness of other options. Encourage people to join PuG's by increasing the joy of playing in one, not by reducing other options.
Yeah let's go even further and make this skills usable in PvP.

Giving heroes sunspear skills would be retarded. Normal mode is easy and with overpowered heroes is not worth playing. Hardmode and maybe some of the elite missions would also become to easy.
And yes I like to pug. And there are other ppl that like to pug. Why is the chat in mission areas spamed with "LFG mission"? Giving heroes those skills would hurt pugs even more.

Heroes are not overpowered. They're just more convenient.

And there are some people who don't like to pug, or can only play in the mornings where it's very hard to find a pug (3-4 people in every outpost ftw). And hurt pugs even more? Pugs have already killed themselves over many, many times.

So are PUGs, it's just that human parties can have 16 sunspear skills while HH'ers only get 2.
Fact of the matter is that these skills are simply not good pugging incentive, since these skills are far from essential.
